Lesson 13
Macros In Motion
Welcome to Lesson 13! Yeah!
tl;dr - Nope, today’s lesson is too important.
Alright, today is the day. We’ve calculated our macros, read about staple foods, and now we are ready to put it all into action. Today is a HUGE milestone, everything we’ve learned up until this point has been leading to TODAY. Be proud of yourself, we’re in the thick of it now! Today we start shifting our habits, the goal from now on is to intentionally eat to hit our macros - like plus or minus 5-10g per macro. WE’VE HIT MACRO TRACKING TERRITORY! You set your goal, this is the action plan to get you there. Furthermore, a stretch goal for sure, but try to make 80% of how you reach your macros with single-ingredient foods. The real fun begins today! But just remember this is a marathon, not a sprint. It’s ok to miss the goal, just try again the next day. Macro-tracking is a skill and you WILL get good at the process. As long as you keep trying, you’ll eventually get to where you want to be. You got this, I believe in you!
And if there are any hesitations at this point - you DON’T have to track forever, but for the remaining 14 days of this course, I implore you to. Trust me, this is where the learning truly really begins. You’ve come this far, let’s take this leap together!
In case it’s not clear how’d you go about hitting your macros take the following approach, we will learn smarter ways of approaching macros later.
Start out with your first meal, log in to the best of your ability using all of the tools at your disposal.

“Add Food” > Bars Icon (top left)

From now on, we are going to be conscious and try to hit our macros each day. This is how we will reach our goals, consistency is key - You’ve got this!
